Custom Fluid Flow and Thermal Simulations

Approximatrix team members have extensive experience working with space-related fluid and thermal simulations.  Experience includes work with public commercial packages including Thermal Desktop, Sinda/Fluent, and OPPDIF.  Furthermore, Approximatrix has developed a variety of custom fluid and combustion simulations from the ground up.  These simulations have included three-dimensional inviscid flow, both solid and liquid combustion processes, and complex gas-phase radiation models (notably grey-gas, two-phase, and narrow-band radiation models).

Validation and Verification of Launch Vehicle Systems and Missions

Approximatrix team members have provided Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) services for a variety of launch vehicles and missions.  Experience includes analysis of Lockheed Martin's Atlas and Boeing's Delta lines of launch vehicles.  IV&V support has ranged from flight design tasks to flight controls analysis to thermal and fluid considerations.  Our team has experience in designing 6 degree of freedom launch vehicle simulations for stability and performance analyses.

Data Aggregation and Analysis
