Draco Release 1.2 Available!

The latest release of Draco is available for download

Approximatrix, LLC, is happy to announce the availability of Draco Release 1.2.  The latest version of Draco introduces a new regression, an extensible preferences framework, and improved reliability.  The ability to perform Probit Maximum Likelihood Estimator regressions is now integrated into the main program.  The new regression enhances the current suite consisting of ordinary least squares, two stage least squares, logit, non-linear least squares, and weighted leasted squares regression algorithms.

A new preferences framework has been added to the program.  The preferences dialog allows for minor UI adjustments and for the fine-tuning of the Draco plugin system settings.  Draco plugins, powered by the JRuby language, allow for user authorship of complex regressions using the ease and power of Ruby.  The groundwork has also been laid for industry-leading parallelization of computations in the plugin system.

Approximatrix has enhanced Draco with a number of new automated tests, which, when run at compile time, are used to ensure general program reliability.  More tests are planned moving forward, including a plugin testing framework.

Approximatrix offers commercial support for the Draco Econometrics package.  Please see the support packages to purchase and help ensure the ongoing development of Draco.  The latest version is available immediately from the Draco download page.
